Financial Obligation on Children

In African and Asian societies there is a financial obligation placed on children.  The term for this in Chinese culture is “filial piety”. The parental thinking is, “We have taken care of you in your childhood, so you are obligated to take care of us in our senior years.”  This is not done out of love but obligation.  We have found that it is rooted generationally in the effort of parents to have their children worship them, and behind this is the demand of the fallen sons of God to be worshipped by their spiritual children.
