The sons of God were created in heaven and we know them as ‘human spirits’. When the fallen sons of God mated with the daughters of man, the giants were born (Genesis 6:1). These fallen sons are not redeemable like we are. Eventually the giants died, but because God was not involved in their conception they had no soul; so they went to the place of the dead. ‘Demons’ means ‘little gods’. The fallen sons of God who became giants died and are these little gods who are the demons.
