From the beginning of my training in prayer ministry I had heard that a wife could be connected to the husband’s generational line because of the sexual union. Frankly, I have never been convinced of this. I use the illustration that I can be affected by my wife’s blue eyes but I am not going to catch them. The life (soul) is in the blood and so is the generational issues.
Now I have to correct my belief.
As I was praying for a mother I suddenly remembered that a fetus’s blood is intermingled with the mother’s blood and that blood remains in the mother’s body for several days and perhaps months. That would mean that she is then tied to the fetus’ father’s blood line and generational issues.
