How can I have missed this? \nOf course\, the information is not THE only answer\, BUT if you do not apply the truths that we will discuss\, a blessed and fulfilled life is not possible. \nBoth the internet and bookstores are replete with self-help messages that teach the use of positive thinking and the law of attraction\, all of which is meant to deliver benefits into one’s life. \nHowever\, the Bible makes it clear that striving after the views of the world is vanity\, as is beautifully illustrated throughout Ecclesiastes 2. Cox \nEvent Description: \nIn every generation\, God calls His people to walk in both purity and understanding. As believers\, we know we are to avoid any participation in astrology or zodiac practices. Scripture clearly warns against divination and seeking guidance from created things rather than from the Creator. \nThroughout history—and even in our modern culture—many have looked to horoscopes\, zodiac signs\, planetary alignments\, and star charts to determine the future\, choose wedding dates\, plan family events\, or gain direction for major life decisions. But seeking the stars to determine our destiny instead of seeking the Lord is something Scripture clearly frowns upon. God forbids His people from turning to the heavens for guidance when He Himself has invited us to come boldly to His throne. When we consult created things rather than the Creator\, we step into misplaced trust. \nBut what if many Christians have rejected something they have never fully understood? \nWhat if there is a difference between pagan astrology and the biblical revelation of the stars? \nHave you ever heard of the Mazzaroth mentioned in Job 38:32?\nDo you know what the Bible actually teaches about the stars?\nIs there a redemptive purpose in how God designed the constellations?\nCould there be spiritual bondage tied to false interpretations of the stars?\nAnd is there a biblical connection between the heavens and healing? \nThese are not mystical questions. Cox \nEvent Description: \nIn every generation\, God calls His people to walk in both purity and understanding. As believers\, we know we are to avoid any participation in astrology or zodiac practices. Scripture clearly warns against divination and seeking guidance from created things rather than from the Creator. \nThroughout history—and even in our modern culture—many have looked to horoscopes\, zodiac signs\, planetary alignments\, and star charts to determine the future\, choose wedding dates\, plan family events\, or gain direction for major life decisions. But seeking the stars to determine our destiny instead of seeking the Lord is something Scripture clearly frowns upon. God forbids His people from turning to the heavens for guidance when He Himself has invited us to come boldly to His throne. When we consult created things rather than the Creator\, we step into misplaced trust. \nBut what if many Christians have rejected something they have never fully understood? \nWhat if there is a difference between pagan astrology and the biblical revelation of the stars? \nHave you ever heard of the Mazzaroth mentioned in Job 38:32?\nDo you know what the Bible actually teaches about the stars?\nIs there a redemptive purpose in how God designed the constellations?\nCould there be spiritual bondage tied to false interpretations of the stars?\nAnd is there a biblical connection between the heavens and healing? \nThese are not mystical questions.
