In Jesus name, I repent for anytime I or those in my family line overstepped authority or took on burdens and responsibilities that you did not intend us to carry.
I repent for anytime I or those in my family line:
- Tried to be a savior to others
- Tried to act as a bridge between others and you, Lord
- Tried to act as a barrier between others and the enemy
In Jesus name, I reject all ungodly positions of authority. Lord please move me fully into the positions of authority that You have established for me.
I repent for allowing an imbalance in the carrying of one another’s burdens. I repent for trying to take on other’s burdens instead of helping to carry those burdens to you, Lord.
In Jesus name, I now surrender and give over to you, Lord, all burdens that are ungodly, worldly or inappropriate. Regardless of whether they were inherited, others placed them on me or I took them on myself.
Thank you, Jesus, that when I’m weary I can come to You. Thank you for your gentleness and humility. Thank you that what You want me to carry is easy and light. I surrender any remaining burdens over to You and I choose to carry only what You want me to carry. Please help me to continually surrender to you and to never try to take back what I have surrendered.
I repent for anyone in my family line who participated in ungodly trading. I repent for those who traded, cashed-in, or used as collateral the prosperity, well-being, health or inheritance of their descendants and stole it for themselves. Lord, please cancel all these ungodly trades.
I repent for those who were unforgiving, kept records of wrongs, held grudges and nurtured unforgiveness. I repent for those in my family line who established grudges, feuds and unforgiveness as an inheritance.
I declare that I forgive all those who have harmed or come against me or my family line.
Lord, please destroy all ungodly record books, including all records of wrongs.
I now reject all inheritance of unforgiveness and grudges. Lord I surrender all unforgiveness over to you.
I repent for anytime I or those in my family line considered your calling a burden or focused on works and deeds instead of making rest with You a priority. I repent for anytime I or those in my family line perceived your calling on our lives as a burden.
I repent for anytime I or those in my family line focused more on rules of religion or on the law rather than focusing on and nurturing a personal relationship with you. I repent for those in my family line who established religion, traditions and superstition as a burden. I repent for all participation in legalism, religiosity and superstition.
Lord, please cancel any remaining ungodly debt. Please clean up and return to me everything that has been lost, stolen or given away. Please remove from me anything that is not part of your design for me and my life.
