Purpose of Our Intern Program

The focus of the Aslan's Place self-paced intern program is to equip Christians with the ability to comfortably conduct generational prayer utilizing discernment. This is accomplished by establishing a foundation of biblical knowledge and experience.
Graduates of our program will build their foundation in areas such as:

  • Biblical basis of spiritual warfare, and our authority over evil through Christ.
  • Understanding Godly discernment, and its use in prayer and everyday life.
  • Use of the generational prayer model that God has led us to use.
  • Use of the inner healing model that God has led us to use.
  • Much more...

Phases of Our Intern Program

Application Phase
If you are interested in participating in our Intern Program, please submit an Intern Program Application. There is no fee to apply!

After we have received your application and have prayed about your involvement with Aslan's Place, we will distribute your application to the Board of Directors for their prayer and approval. We will then contact you with our answer.

If we do not accept an application, we encourage re-applying after six months.
Once approved as an intern, you will receive a welcome packet, and access to our intern/prayer minister internet forum.

Be sure to be as thorough as possible when filling out this application.

Knowledge Foundation Building Phase (Study of Resources)
It is very important for prayer ministers to have a strong biblical foundation. In addition, it is important to have an understanding of new revelation that has been biblically tested. For this and other reasons, Paul Cox established the “resources” phase of the intern program.

During this phase, interns receive a study guide with a list of resources, which they may review at their own pace. In addition, we provide an online forum where you may communicate with Paul, other interns, and prayer ministers.

It may be necessary to invest in your knowledge by purchasing many of these resources. However, it is not required that each intern purchase their own resources.

All of the videos in our resource list are available for daily use in our resource library in Hesperia, CA. You may also be able to locate others in your area that are willing to loan out their copies.

Wisdom Foundation Building Phase (Intern Workshop Week)
The Intern Workshop week gives you the opportunity to work closely with Paul Cox and his team. These workshops are an interactive experience where you learn more about how to understand what God is doing through discernment. This includes participating in generational prayer. Group size is limited to 15 in order to ensure that attention may be given to each participant.

Beginning in 2012, interns are able to participate in the workshop either in person, or via the internet. Our webinar software allows you to see and hear all aspects of the workshop.

It is only necessary to participate in one intern workshop week, and participation may occur any time during the course of an internship. We schedule multiple workshop weeks each year. Payment for workshop week is not due until you are ready to register for a specific week. The only recommended prerequisite is the DVD series School of Ministry I.

The cost of the Intern Workshop Week is $500.00.

Practical Application Phase
Each intern will participate in 10 prayer sessions with Paul Cox and other prayer ministers. Participation may be in person, over via a Skype conference call. Our staff helps coordinate the prayer sessions, but interns may also coordinate participation via the online forum.
